Description

The watercourse around RTHA The watercourse around the RTHA site is an important watercourse. On the one hand, it ensures that all runoff rainwater from the hard surfaces can be collected and discharged, and on the other hand, it provides additional retention capacity in case of heavy rain showers. The watercourse is nearly 7 km long. In 2023, all ditch profiles were surveyed and environmental (water) bottom investigations were carried out. This revealed that both the dredged material and the settled water bottom are contaminated to a greater or lesser extent. As a result, the dredged material cannot be spread next to the watercourse, but must be disposed of directly. Part of the revetment needs to be replaced.
