The Landkreis Reutlingen is re-tendering the operating services for the Pfullingen composting plant. To this end, the Landkreis Reutlingen will lease the composting plant's land to the future contractor. The contracting authority is the owner of the property Pfullingen, Im Selchental 2, 72793 Pfullingen. The aforementioned composting plant will handle the bio-waste collected in the Landkreis Reutlingen's disposal area (excluding the city of Reutlingen) until the Entsorgungszentrum Reutlingen (EZR) comes into operation. In addition, wet (grass/weedy) green waste will be composted in the future. Furthermore, the composting plant will accept and process woody green waste from private households as well as from commissioned third parties - including commissioned businesses - of private households. In addition to the aforementioned wet green waste from the disposal area of the Landkreis Reutlingen, further quantities of wet green waste from other cities in the Landkreis Reutlingen, such as from the cities of Metzingen and Pfullingen, may be composted at the composting plant. The same applies to the acceptance and processing of woody green waste.
