The works to be carried out will be those necessary to perform the service of executing fluvial conservation works, including non-infrastructure improvement activities, in the public hydrological domain of the Galicia Costa hydrographic demarcation basins. The main objective to be achieved will be the naturalisation of the channels of the hydrographic demarcation. Thus, in general, the scope of the works and activities to be developed in this service will fall within the actions carried out in the field of fluvial conservation and which, in general terms, are framed in the following groups, more specifically described in the technical specifications: a) Fluvial conservation works, with environmental conditioning tasks of the affected or incident stretches, removal of sediments, elimination of obstacles from beds and from the easement zones, log jams, felling and pruning of trees and other necessary works in the public hydrological domain. b) Singular works, restoration works (recovery of the natural structure and functioning of the beds), rehabilitation (recovery of a state similar to the natural, maintaining the existing pressures), environmental improvement in the environment (increase the value of the river but not the recovery of its previous ecological functioning) or adaptation of the river stretches (recreational adaptation, protections and other necessary works), among others. c) Data collection, drafting of reports and communications between the different participating actors.
