Germany – Engineering design services – Bauplanungsleistungen für die Errichtung eines Umspannwerks

SWE Netz GmbH, as the network operator of the state capital Erfurt, is responsible for the safe and reliable operation of the power distribution networks. One of the tasks is to adapt and, if necessary, expand and upgrade the high-voltage network (110kV network) to meet the increasing energy demand of network customers, which is rising due to various influencing factors. Several influencing factors act in parallel but largely independently of each other on the necessary further development of the 110kV network. The urban development in the Erfurt-Nordost area, the beginning of the transport transition (electromobility) and a strong demand for high connection capacities for the settlement and operation of feed-in generation plants in the supply area are leading to a significant increase in the predicted total connection capacity. These influencing factors result in a comprehensive need for adaptation in the structure and dimensioning of the high-voltage network in terms of quantity and arrangement in the network area. The subject of the present tender is therefore the creation and implementation of construction planning services incl. construction supervision for the service packages (HOAI 2021) buildings, outdoor facilities, civil engineering works, transport facilities and structural design for the construction of a new substation at the location Erfurt-Stotternheim (general planning contract). Concrete information on the scope of planning can be found in the task description. The awarding is to be completed by the end of Q3 2026. Planning and the associated measures are to begin immediately after the order is placed (approx. September 2026).
