Switzerland – Electrical services – Sanierung Fischgängigkeit / Sanierung Kraftwerke / Erneuerung Konzession, SIA Phasen 32-53

The main objective of the project is to ensure the long-term and economically sustainable production of renewable energy from hydropower from approximately 2030 onwards. This includes the following sub-objectives: * The concession for the use of hydropower will be secured for the power plants Obertöss and Niedertöss for at least a further 40 years and under economically viable conditions. In addition, a provision must be able to be formed for the decommissioning of the facilities after the end of the concession. * The statutory improvement of fish passage will be fulfilled while ensuring the full cost participation of the Federal Government. * The preservation of historic buildings will be regulated bindingly and in the long term in relation to sub-objectives 1) and 2). A moderate further development and renewal of the power plant facilities during the concession period should be secured. As an interim objective, it is intended to create legally binding framework conditions through planning work up to and including the building or concession application, so that the renovation and renewal can then be implemented independently or the facilities, including the legally approved project, can be sold. Therefore, phases 41 – 53 according to SIA standard 112 will only be tendered as an option.
