The Mobil Krankenkasse intends to grant employees, as a voluntary benefit in addition to their statutory salary (gross salary), a tax-free non-cash benefit. This currently applies to approximately 1,500 employees. The non-cash benefit is to be made available to employees via a card, which is generally topped up monthly as part of the payroll process. The card can generally be provided virtually. However, there should be the possibility to order a physical card in exceptional cases at the employee's request.
