Switzerland – Construction work – Extension et rénovation du Lycée-collège de St-Maurice - CFC 283.1

The Lycée-Collège de Saint-Maurice accommodates approximately 1,100 students supervised by around 100 teachers. With a long educational tradition, this emblematic place plays a key role in the gymnasial education of the canton of Valais, and enjoys a confirmed reputation. The establishment is spread over two distinct sites: * the Lycée-Collège site, located in the immediate vicinity of the station and the old town of Saint-Maurice; * the Sports Zone site, adjacent to the sports facilities of the municipality. These two sites are more than 300 metres apart, or approximately a five-minute walk. The project for the extension and transformation of the Lycée-Collège involves the construction, to the northwest of the site, of a new wooden pavilion comprising a basement and four levels. It also includes the renovation of the Boarding School, property of the Abbey of Saint-Maurice, as well as the transformation of the existing H-shaped building.
