Germany – Telecommunications services – Geförderter Gigabitausbau im Landkreis Gießen

The subject of the procurement procedure is the transfer of grant funds for the construction and operation of a sustainable and high-performance gigabit network for 13,579 underserved addresses in the district of Gießen, according to the viability gap model in accordance with No. 3.1 of the Directive “Promotion to support the gigabit expansion of telecommunications networks in the Federal Republic of Germany” (Gigabit Directive 2.0) of 13.01.2025. The aim is to provide all the underserved addresses listed in the attached address list with symmetrical bandwidths of at least 1 Gbit/s.
