Spain – Social work services without accommodation – los servicios de habilitación y terapia ocupacional, de estimulación cognitiva, promoción, mantenimiento y recuperación de la autonomía funcional y servicios de habilitación psicosocial para personas con discapacidad intelectual a las personas en situación de dependencia

Occupational habilitation and therapy service: This will comprise the set of interventions aimed, according to the needs of each user, at preventing or reducing a limitation in activity or alteration of physical, intellectual or sensory function, as well as maintaining or improving already acquired skills.

Cognitive stimulation service: Therapeutic treatment that, through appropriate techniques, aims to maintain and improve the functioning of one or some of the cognitive capacities, functional, behaviour and affectivity.

Service for the promotion, maintenance and recovery of functional autonomy: Set of interventions aimed at maintaining and/or improving the ability to perform ADLs, preventing the onset of activity limitations, secondary deficiencies or deficits and enhancing personal development and social inclusion. All this with the aim of achieving the highest level of personal autonomy and quality of life.

Psycho-social habilitation service for people with intellectual disabilities: Set of actions aimed at providing temporary or permanent support to people with intellectual disabilities, in order to improve their chances of staying in the family and social environment and their own decision-making in the most normalised and independent conditions possible.
