SBH | Schulbau Hamburg is tasked with planning, building, maintaining and managing school properties in consideration of educational needs and economic principles, and leasing the approximately 350 schools to the Authority for Schools and Vocational Training. The school properties include all plots of land and buildings used for educational purposes by state and vocational schools. The total area of all state general and vocational schools is approximately 9.1 million m², and the main usable area is approximately 3.1 million m². In this capacity, SBH has been commissioned to build an extension and replacement classroom building at the listed Schumacher Building and a 2-court sports hall at the site Griesstr. 101 in Hamburg.
