Finland – Health and social work services – Alueellisen kotihoidon hankinta

The subject of the procurement is the provision of regional home care services in the areas of Sahanmäen, Mustamännistön and Ahdenkallion in the Hyvinkää municipality, part of the Central Uusimaa well-being services county. The home care area as a whole is referred to as the Ahdenkallion area and is detailed in appendix 1.1 Home Care Area. Based on the procurement, one (1) service provider will be selected to produce the services with full responsibility for the clients of the home care area. The contracting entity may also select one (1) reserve supplier for the area. Home care refers to home care as defined in section 19a of the Social Welfare Act (1301/2014). The provision of services to the client is based on the client's decision and care plan. The service must be provided in accordance with current legislation and instructions from lower-level authorities. The service must also be provided in accordance with the client's current guidelines on home care. The clients of home care are citizens of different ages, but mainly the service is targeted at elderly people who regularly need care, support and medical assistance to help them cope at home. The number of clients is currently an average of 60. For more information about the clients, see appendix 1 Service Description section 3.3. The subject of the procurement is described in more detail in the service description (appendix 1 Service Description) attached. The service provider must commence the production of the contractual service package by no later than 1 November 2026.
