The scope of the construction services in this specification includes surface excavations and exploratory excavations to securely determine the existing inventory of services throughout the area of the Leinaustraße stop. Measurements of the discovered and exposed lines will be carried out and documented within one week by the contracting authority or its engineering service provider. The open excavations must be secured by suitable barriers for the duration of the works. After completion of the measurements, the exploratory excavations are to be properly backfilled by the contractor. The lines are to be protected with sand. Then the excavation material is to be reinstated and compacted layer by layer and the surfaces are to be closed with the removed surface materials.
