In the context of the general maintenance, the street Am Friedhof in the district of Wandsbek, section between Rahlstedter Straße and Schöneberger Straße, will be comprehensively renovated over a length of approximately 950m. The measure includes the complete reconstruction of the road structure, the renewal and widening of the pavements, the optimization of the street drainage, as well as the adaptation of the ancillary areas. Additionally, new tree locations, bicycle racks, and parking bays will be created. Barrier-free access will be improved through tactile guidance elements and lowered curbs. The aim is to sustainably improve traffic safety, quality of stay, and infrastructure for all road users.
