Bulgaria – Repair and maintenance services – Изпълнение на аварийни ремонти на основно и спомагателно оборудване и системи на ядрени енергийни блокове 5 и/или 6, през 2026÷2028 година

Execution of emergency repairs to main and auxiliary equipment and systems of nuclear power units 5 and/or 6, during 2026-2028. Emergency repairs are defined as those carried out:

- after the unit is disconnected from the energy system due to failure of a structure, system, or component;

- after the unit's capacity is reduced due to production restrictions and maintenance of the units' safety due to failure of the KSK;

- after detection of a hidden problem during the PGR, which may lead to a drastic increase in the duration of the annual repair;

- during operation, if a KSK failure is detected that directly affects the safety, electrical production safety, and heat production.

The requirements of this notice apply to:

- emergency repair of steam turbine K 1000-60/1500-2 (5,6SA);

- emergency repair of turbo-generator TVV-1000-4U3 (9,10GQ);

- emergency repair of exciter generator BVD-4600-1500-AU3 (9,10GE);

- emergency repair of electric motors and pumps in the I and II circuits;

- emergency repair of heat exchangers in the I and II circuits;

- emergency repair of pipelines, equipment, and supports in the I and II circuits;

- emergency repairs to fire-fighting systems;

- emergency repair of underground pipelines;

- emergency repair of transformers;

- emergency repair of protective, locating, and safety assurance systems;

- emergency repairs to pipelines on the technological gallery.

The listed repair activities are carried out in the hermetically sealed zones (HZ) of units 5 and 6, the controlled zones (KZ) of units 5 and 6, the machine halls of units 5 and 6, CPS-3, CPS-4, TRS, diesel generator stations of units 5 and 6, and all objects of EP-2, included in the protected zone of the Kozloduy NPP site.

Note: Controlled Zone (KZ) - a zone on the Kozloduy NPP site with controlled access for activities in an environment with sources of ionizing radiation. Protected Zone – a zone on the Kozloduy NPP site with an organized passage system, which includes: main portals 1-4 block, main portal 5,6 block. The activities for the execution of a specific corrective (emergency) repair are agreed with the Contracting Authority in each individual case.
