Denmark – Sewage, refuse, cleaning and environmental services – Transport, sortering og genanvendelse af Plastaffald udsorteret fra ARCs sorteringsanlæg

The contract covers the transport, sorting and recycling of plastic waste. The plastic waste has been collected as part of residual waste from households in Copenhagen Municipality, Frederiksberg Municipality and Tårnby Municipality and subsequently sorted at the sorting plant at Amager Ressourcecenter (ARC). It is expected that the sorting plant will be commissioned in the 4th quarter of 2026 and will be fully operational within six months. When the plant is commissioned, four types of waste will be sorted: Food and Drink Cartons, Plastic, Paper/Cardboard and Metal.
