Slagelse Municipality is awarding a main contract for SE2 - carpentry in connection with the construction of Trelleborg – The Reconstructed Fortress, located at Trelleborg Allé 4, Slagelse. With the project The Reconstructed Fortress, a reconstruction of Harald Bluetooth's Trelleborg is being built. The reconstruction includes a section of the original fortress with rampart, palisade, moat, bridge, gate, boardwalks, three longhouses as well as a new service building and lift. The main contract will be awarded to the bidder who has submitted the lowest price. The main contract with the winning bidder will be entered into on the terms and conditions set out in the tender documents draft main contract with annexes as well as any adjustments as a result of questions/answers and correction sheets. The project is tendered in 2 main contracts SE1 - landscaping and SE2 - carpentry. Main contract SE2 – carpentry (this tendered main contract) shall provide all timber for the outer palisade, gate, longhouses and bridges as well as carry out the cladding of the outer palisade, gate, three complete longhouses, wooden bridge over the moat and over the gate passage. The tender includes an option that the Contracting Entity has the right – but not the obligation – to utilise. The option includes rammed earth floors in longhouse 1, as set out in the bid list.
