Poland – Miscellaneous explosives – dostawa materiału wybuchowego plastycznego MWP-14 lub równoważnego

The subject of the contract is the supply of plastic explosive material MWP-14 (introduced into the Polish Armed Forces by the order of the Chief of the Armed Forces Support Inspectorate No. 61 of 24 August 2007) or equivalent, hereinafter referred to as "MWP", in the years 2026-2027, in the quantity of 80,000 kg, including: in the basic contract - 40,000 kg, in the optional contract 40,000 kg. The contracting authority has defined the following equivalent conditions for the products: 1. plastic crushing explosive material with increased strength of action (by approx. 25% compared to TNT); 2. stability during heating at a temperature of not less than 70°C for 48 h; 3. plasticity at a temperature of -40°C - not less than 40 units of penetration; 4. plasticity at a temperature of 20°C - approx. 95±15 units of penetration; 5. plasticity at a temperature of 70°C - up to 150 units of penetration; 6. deformation of liquid components at a temperature of not less than +70°C for 24 h - not more than 0.3%; 7. swelling in a lead block - not less than 350 cm³; 8. detonation velocity - not less than 7000 m/s; 9. sensitivity to initiation - from the burning of 8-A-TAT, ERG fuse, continuous detonation system STS; 10. resistance to the effect of lowered ambient temperature - operating (-30°C) limit (-50°C); 11. resistance to the effect of elevated ambient temperature - operating (50°C) limit (65°C); 12. resistance to the effect of ambient temperature changes - from -30°C to 65°C; 13. resistance to the effect of a water column - 5 m for 10 h; 14. storage time 10 years, warranty 3 years; 15. recommended unit packaging from 1 kg to 4 kg (±0.1 kg) in foil packaging; 16. collective packaging: wooden or cardboard boxes, in which there should be from 5 to 20 unit packages, with the possibility of palletisation up to 1 m and a maximum mass of 1130 kg; 17. storage conditions: a) normal: -10°C to 20°C, humidity 60-75%, b) permissible: -15°C to 25°C, humidity 55-75%; 18. compliance with the requirements set out in the Convention on the Marking of Plastic Explosives for the Purpose of Detection.
