Romania – Workstations – „Stație de lucru pentru aplicații AI și 5G””

The contracting authority, the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, will procure “AI and 5G Application Workstation” 10 units within the allocated budget. The workstations will be used to train AI models of various sizes for processing time series, images, text, audio, and video. Training these models requires the parallelization support provided by dedicated graphics cards (e.g. Nvidia Cuda). Storage space is necessary for both data, as large data volumes are generally required, and for storing intermediate models built during training experiments. RAM memory and a multi-core processor are necessary for pre-processing input data for these models. The workstations will also be used as Edge elements for processing continuous data streams received from sensors, as well as for generating such streams. The contracting authority will respond clearly and fully to all requests for clarification/ additional information by the 11th day before the deadline for submission of tenders. The number of days within which clarifications can be requested before the deadline for submission of tenders is 18 days.
