Åre Municipality intends to conclude a contract for the collection, transport, transhipment and long-distance transport of municipal waste within Åre Municipality (the "Contract"). The Contract includes, among other things: - Collection of residual waste and food waste from households and businesses. - Emptying of waste bins, containers, compactors, and ground and underground containers. - Scheduled extra emptying and emergency extra emptying. - Emptying of collection points including pay-and-toss stations and CUS. - Transport of waste from the subscriber to the transhipment station. - Provision of transhipment station as well as weighing and transhipment of collected waste. - Long-distance transport of waste to treatment facilities. - Placement, exchange, retrieval, marking, registration and minor repair of waste bins. The contracting authority is responsible for customer service, subscriber register and invoicing of waste fees. The Contract covers the entire Åre Municipality, including islands with a fixed land connection. The Contract is not subject to competitive tendering in-house.
