Denmark – Electrical installation work – El-installatørydelser til Aalborg Universitet
Description
AAU wishes to enter into an agreement with a primary and a secondary contractor. The primary contractor is to be used in the following situations: A. Electrical installation work tasks, cf. the contract's clause 3.3. B. Fire safety installation work tasks, cf. the contract's clause 3.3 (except for the subcontract for Copenhagen) C. Annual inspection as well as service and maintenance of various types of fire safety installations, cf. the contract's clause 3.3. The secondary contractor is to be used in the following situations according to the contract: A. Electrical installation work tasks, cf. the contract's clause 3.3. B. Fire safety installation work tasks, cf. the contract's clause 3.3. Services according to the Agreement are to be carried out by the primary supplier as a starting point, but the performance of services by the secondary supplier may be relevant in the following situations: • If the primary supplier cannot perform a service due to temporary obstacles, such as lack of staff or otherwise, the order can instead go to the secondary supplier. • If AAU has set a deadline for completion of a specific task, and the primary supplier cannot offer to perform the service within the deadline set by AAU, the service can instead be performed by the secondary supplier. • If the primary supplier significantly breaches the Agreement, AAU can terminate the Agreement with this supplier, after which the secondary supplier becomes the primary supplier of all services according to the agreement. The described situations cover that AAU wishes to have a permanent cooperation partner in the form of a primary supplier, who can not only perform service and maintenance of electrical and fire safety installations, but also can be used for larger tasks within these works. In addition to this, AAU wishes to have a permanent cooperation partner in the form of a secondary supplier, who can ensure operations in case the primary supplier cannot do this – more specifically in the cases listed in the contract's clause 3.2. The agreements enter into force on 1 December 2026 and expire without notice on 30 November 2031. There can be an extension of up to 2 years. The contract start on 1 December 2026 presupposes that there are no delays. It can therefore not be ruled out that the contract start will be postponed if delays occur in relation to the implementation of the procurement. In this case, the expiry date will be brought forward accordingly.
