In light of a projected population growth of almost ten percent by the year 2030, the DRK-Kliniken Berlin are expanding their oncology-sector-wide campus in Berlin-Köpenick. To meet the high regional supply responsibility, the new Training Centre for Health & Nursing Köpenick (AGP) is being created in the listed building House 10. The project creates 165 additional places in general nursing training and integrates theory and practice through state-of-the-art equipment - including a dedicated skills lab - in one location. The construction measure includes the conversion and the restoration of the ground and first floors in accordance with monument protection, with a gross floor area of approximately 970 square meters. A gross budget of approximately 4.92 million euros has been approved for the implementation. The binding basis for all subsequent planning services is the pre-planning document (VPU) approved in November 2024. Special requirements for the measure include the conversion in the listed area and the implementation of the measure in the adjacent ongoing clinic operation.
