Germany – Research and development services and related consultancy services – Entwicklung, Bau und Lieferung eines Laser-Doppler-Anemometers (LDA) mit allen technischen Unterlagen für die Bundesanstalt für Wasserbau, Standort Karlsruhe

The Federal Waterways Engineering and Research Institute (BAW) requires the development and production of a laser-optical measurement system for capturing turbulent flow velocities in water. The Laser Doppler Anemometer (LDA) is intended to replace outdated and no longer available measurement systems (particularly Vectrino from Nortek). The LDA to be developed is characterized by high temporal resolution in all three flow directions and a small measurement volume, and it enables good accessibility in confined water models. To ensure long-term use, the LDA is to be maintained and produced by the BAW in the future. For this reason, the development is to be carried out in close cooperation with the Technical Support Department of the BAW. The scope of services includes the delivery of a functional LDA (prototype) and all documents necessary for the production of the LDA.
