Belgium – Architectural, engineering and planning services – Projectmanagement Masterplan campus Sint-Jan voor het Ziekenhuis Oost-Limburg

The subject contract is a services contract and concerns the provision of specialised services in the areas of expertise, coordination and (senior) project management in relation to the masterplan for campus Sint-Jan for Ziekenhuis Oost-Limburg. Given the exceptional scope of the masterplan for campus Sint-Jan, the complexity of the various sub-projects and the need for integrated steering, ZOL wishes to engage a specialised partner to assume the role of senior project manager for the masterplan. This contract includes the substantive steering, coordination and follow-up of the masterplan and the related construction projects, with the aim of ensuring the coherence between the sub-projects, achieving critical milestones on time and ensuring efficient and correct execution of the entire programme. The service provider (hereinafter: “senior masterplan manager”) acts as a substantive expert, strategic advisor and point of contact for the client and is expected to critically evaluate studies, designs, estimates, specifications and tender documents, assess progress and formulate recommendations to management and the executive board. The senior masterplan manager serves as the point of contact for the subsidy-granting authority VIPA and handles communication and practical coordination.
