The subject of the tender includes transport, sorting and recycling of plastic waste. The plastic waste has been collected as part of residual waste from households in Københavns Kommune, Frederiksberg Kommune and Tårnby Kommune and subsequently sorted at the sorting facility at Amager Ressourcecenter (ARC). It is expected that the sorting facility will be commissioned in the 4th quarter of 2026 and will be fully operational within six months. When the facility is commissioned, four waste types will be sorted: Food and Drink Cartons, Plastic, Paper/Paperboard and Metal.
