Germany – Insurance services – Cyberversicherungsprogramm - Grundvertrag

EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG (Contracting Authority) intends to award the tenders for a cyber insurance program for the EnBW Group or for the Contracting Authority and the companies associated with it according to §§ 15 et seq. AktG. The tenders will be conducted separately for the basic contract and the excess contracts above it. The present tender concerns the conclusion of an insurance contract (= basic contract) for the provision of cyber insurance cover. The contract term initially amounts to one insurance year from 01.01.2027 00:00, CET to 01.01.2028, 00:00, CET. The contractual relationship extends by one further year with the expiry of the insurance year, unless it is terminated by one party at the latest three months before expiry in text form. If a Long Term Agreement (LTA) is concluded, the contract term amounts to two insurance years from 01.01.2027 00:00, CET to 01.01.2028, 00:00, CET and from 01.01.2028 00:00, CET to 01.01.2029, 00:00. The special provisions of an LTA clause apply here. The contractual relationship extends by one further year with the expiry of the insurance year, unless it is terminated by one party at the latest three months before expiry of the last insurance year in text form. The Contracting Authority aims for a uniform contract term for all components of the cyber insurance program. To avoid different terms within the insurance program, this aspect will be taken into account in the award decision. The target capacity of the basic contract of the entire cyber insurance program is in the double-digit million euro range. The insurance coverage will include standard and special coverage modules for cyber risks of large industrial and energy companies.
