Germany – Engineering services – TGA für den Neubau des Hörsaalzentrums der Universität Hamburg in der Science City Hamburg Bahrenfeld

The lecture hall centre on the East Campus will be the first component of the "Quartiere am Volkspark" to be implemented and will serve as the flagship of the university campus in the Science City Hamburg Bahrenfeld. It is intended to become the central meeting place, primarily dedicated to teaching, but also to promote exchange between students, teachers, and the public. It will house flexible teaching spaces for the departments of Chemistry, Physics, and Biology, as well as the digital natural sciences, all under one roof. In addition to the excellent, internationally competitive research conditions in the Science City Hamburg Bahrenfeld (SCHB), the lecture hall centre (HZ) is to be realised in the Quartiere am Volkspark on the East Campus, opposite the planned Learning Centre, to create the most modern teaching and learning conditions for the approximately 5,000 students of the University of Hamburg from the departments of Physics, Chemistry, Data Science, and parts of Biology, which should be fully competitive in national and international competition. Located on the Luruper Chaussee, the lecture hall centre will become a central attraction for students and teachers who in the future wish to work in a building with attractive teaching and learning infrastructure. The expected scope of services within the framework of the TGA planning can be found in the competition result also enclosed. It is intended to award the following contract services: Basic services and possibly also partial special services of the technical building equipment according to § 53 HOAI in conjunction with Appendix 15.1 HOAI Plant Group 1: Sewage, water and gas systems according to § 53 para. 2 no. 1 HOAI 2021. Plant Group 2: Heating systems according to § 53 para. 2 no. 2 HOAI 2021 Plant Group 3: Air conditioning systems according to § 53 para. 2 no. 3 HOAI 2021 Plant Group 4: High-voltage systems according to § 53 para. 2 no. 4 HOAI 2021 Plant Group 5: Telecommunications and information technology systems according to § 53 para. 2 no. 5 HOAI 2021 Plant Group 6: Conveying systems according to § 53 para. 2 no. 6 HOAI 2021 Plant Group 7: Usage-specific systems and process engineering systems according to § 53 para. 2 no. 7 HOAI 2021 Plant Group 8: Building automation and automation of civil engineering structures according to § 53 para. 2 no. 8 HOAI 2021. The awarding is carried out in stages, with the individual phases of services being divided into stages as follows: Stage 1: Performance phases 1-2 Technical equipment according to § 55 HOAI Stage 2: Performance phases 3-4 Technical equipment according to § 55 HOAI Stage 3: Performance phases 5-8 Technical equipment according to § 55 HOAI. Stage 1 will be awarded with the contract award. Further services will be awarded in stages and optionally. There is no entitlement to the award of further stages. Note: Further staged awarding of the performance phases of stages 2 and 3 of the technical equipment according to § 55 HOAI is subject to the condition of secured project financing. After performance phase 3, the Authority for Science, Research and Equality will submit the project financing to the Hamburg Citizens' Assembly for decision.
