Due to the political mandate, the District of Euskirchen intends to construct a biological treatment plant at the site. The conversion of the composting plant will result in the expansion and redesign of the plant's external areas. Therefore, a redesign of the surface water drainage system, including retention and treatment of surface water, will be carried out. As part of the "Advance Works," the District of Euskirchen intends to construct parts of the necessary infrastructure measures, storage areas, and the partially covered storage facility in advance.
