Germany – Architectural services for buildings – Objektplanungsleistungen für den Neubau der Grundschule am Grafenberg in Herren-berg

The City of Herrenberg, as the contracting authority, intends to construct a two-track primary school with full-day care by building a new primary school in Kayh/Mönchberg to meet the growing demand for school places and, at the same time, to create a future-proof, sustainable and identity-creating educational institution. The plan is to realise a timber hybrid building using as many regional timbers as possible, which combines ecological, economic and social requirements in a balanced way. The approximately 7,493 m2 site is located on the outskirts of Kayh opposite the Grafenberghalle in a natural setting with meadow orchards. In terms of urban development, the school is to enhance the previously unstructured area around the Grafenberghalle and, together with the hall, form a central location for education and encounter. In June 2023, the City of Herrenberg launched a realisation competition with an urban design concept for the planned school building. The 1st prize was awarded to KBK Architekten I Belz Lutz, Stuttgart with Möhrle + Partner, Freie Landschaftsarchitekten, Stuttgart. The contract with KBK Architekten I Belz Lutz, Stuttgart was terminated on 01.07.2026. A new planning office is being sought for the continuation of the project planning services. The planning is at the stage of performance phase 3 according to HOAI. LP 3 must be plausibilised, continued and revised in some areas. The subject of this tendering procedure are the project planning services from LP 3. A phased award is planned. Further details are regulated in the procurement guidelines and the contract draft.
