Max-Planck-Gesellschaft Abt.IIIGermanyPublished on Jul 14, 2026
No deadline given

Description

The subject of the contract to be awarded is engineering services in the field of ELT technology in accordance with §§ 53 ff. HOAI "Technical Equipment" in several stages of procurement. For the construction project "Extension of the Institute at the Max-Planck-Institute for the Study of Multireligious and Multiethnic Societies in Göttingen", the following plant groups (AG) are to be considered: AG 4 High Voltage, AG 5 Telecommunications and Information Technology Systems, AG 6 Conveying Systems. The estimated total construction costs (KG 200 to 700) amount to approximately 12,149 million € net. The costs for the aforementioned plant groups, which are likely to be incurred, amount to approximately 1,604,993 € net, according to a first cost estimate. The gross floor area is 2,635 m² and the gross volume is 10,539 m³.

Technical Building Equipment

The connection to the public power grid is made via the existing transformer station in the basement of building G11A. The transformer station is owned by the energy supply company and is only accessible from the outside. The power supply to the transformer station is via Herrmann-Föge-Weg. The roof coverage with a photovoltaic system required by the Photovoltaic Obligation Ordinance (§32a NBauO) of the State of Lower Saxony must be complied with. Furthermore, performance reserves for a future charging infrastructure must be taken into account. The low-voltage supply to buildings G11A and G11N is from the existing low-voltage switchgear, which is located in the basement of building G11A. The low-voltage switchgear must be designed and, if necessary, adapted to the future needs of the institute. The low-voltage installation for building G11N is to be newly constructed from the low-voltage switchgear, taking into account fire protection requirements. In future planning, the construction via building main and floor distributors is to be examined. The general and safety lighting for building G11N is to be newly constructed. The internal and external lightning protection and the equipotential bonding are to be checked and, if necessary, adapted or renewed. The telecommunications connection and the active network components are located in building G11A. This is to be extended to building G11N or, if necessary, redesigned to a central location in further planning. The fire alarm system is located in building G11A. This is to be adapted to the current technical standard, if necessary, and extended to building G11N. The existing access control system is to be checked for its condition and, if necessary, extended to building G11N. The IT equipment is located in building G11N. The data infrastructure is to be adapted to the future needs of the institute. For building G11N, the data network is to be newly constructed via floor distributors. If necessary, a common server room is to be set up for both buildings. A media technical equipment for seminar and conference rooms is to be provided. Furthermore, rooms with recording and control technical equipment must be taken into account. A passenger lift for accessibility is to be planned, which serves building G11N and, if necessary, G11A. For building G11N, a construction power supply must be ensured for the entire construction period.

Special note regarding tender questions due to special external events (e.g. SARS-COV-2 or Ukraine war): Please take into account any possible or recognisable impairments in your offer, e.g. with regard to the availability of materials and products, labour, a possibly delayed submission of required proofs, effects on any subcontractors, etc. Questions arising in this context, we ask to be submitted in good time before the deadline for submission via the message system of the eTendering.
