Living in Limburg is seeking, through this procedure, a multidisciplinary design team that will engage to the fullest extent to approach the overall concept in which architecture, infrastructure and (semi-)public space are integrated, and in which sustainable neighbourhood development with a vision for the future is pursued and stimulated. The design team is responsible for the entire study assignment, from the start of the design research to the final delivery. Optimal cooperation between the architect, the technical experts and the infrastructure designer is necessary so that the development of the architectural design and the landscape design can be carried out in an integrated manner. All necessary disciplines and experts for obtaining the environmental permit and the expert realisation of the proposed concept are included in the price offer. We wish to realise a replacement construction for the 4 apartment buildings at Gansbeekstraat 1, 3, 5 and 7. The replacement construction of the 24 apartments into a new densification project must give a boost to the Gansbeek neighbourhood. Living in Limburg wishes to realise a complementary offer that makes the transition for current tenants to a new home as easy as possible. In total, this concerns approximately 25 apartments, spread across various buildings. We wish a mix of housing type 1/2 and 2/3. The city of Bilzen-Hoeselt is working on a new RUP Gansbeek in which our project site is located. The entire RUP site, including the Technical Institute Sint-Jozef, Vrij CLB Limburg and the four apartment buildings of Living in Limburg, is being reviewed. The aim is to create a green, slow connection from east to west. Several boundary conditions will be imposed to which the new development must comply.
