Germany – Financial and insurance services – Kombinierte Bauleistungs- und Haftpflichtversicherung inkl. Haftpflicht-Exzedenten-Versicherung - Anbau des Krankenhauses Bad Oeynhausen an die Auguste-Viktoria-Klink
Description
Mühlenkreiskliniken is the name of the association of the Johannes Wesling Hospital Minden, the Rahden Hospital, the Lübbecke Hospital and the Bad Oeynhausen Hospital. As 100% subsidiaries, the Auguste-Viktoria-Klinik Bad Oeynhausen GmbH belongs to the association. Within their structures, the Mühlenkreiskliniken operate the Medical Centre for Mental Health, the Medical Care Centre (MVZ) and the Academy for Health Professions. The legal form of the Mühlenkreiskliniken is the Public Law Institution (AöR), the carrier is the Minden-Lübbecke district. Over 5,200 employees care for approximately 250,000 patients annually, on an outpatient and inpatient basis. The task of the Mühlenkreiskliniken is to ensure and expand the inpatient medical care of the people in the Minden-Lübbecke district and beyond. The range of services extends from emergency medicine, obstetrics and teleradiological diagnostics to the high-level medical care of critically ill patients. In addition, the Mühlenkreiskliniken, with their locations in Minden as a university hospital, in Bad Oeynhausen, Lübbecke and Rahden as academic teaching hospitals, have been partners of Ruhr-Universität Bochum in the field of medical education since October 2016. The structural expansion of the Auguste-Viktoria-Klinik is organized in two functionally different modules, which are positioned on both sides of the historic old building. To the east, a new building of the bed house with the main entrance and an inviting cafeteria is being created. To the west, a U-shaped new building complements the existing structure to form a compact examination and treatment tract and accommodates the entrance for patients on stretchers. The implementation requires both new buildings and partial new buildings as well as conversions and reuses in the existing structure - with maximum utilization of existing synergies with existing structures. The building stock of the Auguste-Viktoria-Klinik dates back to a sanatorium for children and young people built in 1913. The main building has been preserved and is the central, identity-creating feature of the clinic. Various different building volumes are grouped around the historic old building, which is used to accommodate administration and offices and for a private X-ray practice. All new buildings will be constructed as jointless solid structures. A reinforced concrete skeleton structure with undercut-free, point-supported reinforced concrete flat slabs on columns and individual walls will be used as the load-bearing structure. A continuous facade overhang/undercut is planned in the facade area. The stiffening of the buildings is carried out by staircase cores uniformly distributed over the floor plan, which are connected monolithically to the floor slabs and guided to the foundation. The floor slab will be constructed as a reinforced concrete slab in waterproof construction (WU) due to the high groundwater level, as will all other underground components of the basement. The facades are planned as thermal insulation composite systems for cost reasons. The roof surfaces will be extensively greened and equipped with photovoltaic elements.
