The municipality of Smallingerland requires a new Tax application. It wishes to conclude a contract with 1 contractor for the implementation and maintenance of the Tax application. The municipality of Smallingerland requires a new Tax application. It wishes to conclude a contract with 1 contractor for the implementation and maintenance of the Tax application. The contract consists of 3 parts: 1) the tax application, 2) the implementation of the tax application, including migration, 3) the maintenance of the application after implementation. The tax application supports staff in efficiently performing their tasks and facilitates the work of the various disciplines within the tax and WOZ cluster. The tax application includes at least the following standard functionality: • Assessment • Collection • Remission • Objection and Appeal • WOZ • Tax portal for residents and businesses • The generation of standard and custom reports • The generation of standard and custom templates. The implementation of the tax application is a major process for the staff involved. During the implementation, we want to rely on experienced project leader(s) and consultants from the contractor. A clear approach with clear responsibilities, tasks, and scheduling is therefore an important part of a successful implementation. The scope of the contract is estimated (and also the ceiling amount) at €2,100,000,-, exclusive of VAT. The estimate of the contract has taken into account any reduction of future modules. The Agreement expires when the estimated value is reached.
