The Contract involves checking Dutch translations of medical/pharmaceutical-oriented texts. The original text (in English) is approved in the registration procedure of the medicinal product. Before the medicinal product can be placed on the market, the English text is translated into Dutch by the manufacturer (firm). It is the legal task of the Contracting Authority to check the Dutch text translated by the manufacturer for accuracy and comprehensibility. This legal task is delegated by the Contracting Authority to the Contractor. For further description of the contract, see the Descriptive Document. An indication of the scope of this Framework Agreement is estimated at a total amount of € 560,000,00 (excluding VAT and price indexation) over the entire contract duration of a maximum of four years. Exact amounts, however, cannot be determined for the future because these are dependent on the number of call-offs per year. The Framework Agreement has no call-off obligation.
