The Free Hanseatic City of Bremen intends to award planning services for the window renovation and the construction of a PV system in the Haus des Reichs. The Haus des Reichs was built between 1928 and 1931 and is a listed building. The building complex is used by the Senator for Finance. The windows [1,169 windows, of which 255 have been renewed] are to be renovated throughout the historic building. The construction of a PV system on the roof is coordinated with the State Office for Heritage Conservation. The measure is funded by EU funds (ERDF). Full utilisation must be ensured by the end of 2028 due to the funding. The window renovation is to be carried out in sections yet to be determined, while the service operation in the building must be guaranteed. The cost framework (cost groups 300, 400 and 500 [cost group 500 protective and safety measures]) is currently estimated at approximately 3.2 million euros / gross. Unaccompanied access to the property is only possible after prior security clearance.
