The subject of the Public Procurement is the conclusion of a comprehensive contract, on the basis of which the selected supplier will be obliged to deliver a complete set of vehicles of the type EMU and BEMU intended for the segment of regional passenger rail transport. The Contracting Authority, in view of the current conditions of the Tender Procedure, currently expects the delivery of a total of up to 18 BEMU 145 vehicles and a total of up to 8 EMU 145 vehicles intended to fulfill the obligations of public services according to the conditions of the Tender Procedure. The total number of required vehicles may be the subject of further negotiation in connection with the development of the Tender Procedure. The Contracting Authority reminds that the Contracting Authority has reserved the right in the Tender Procedure Documentation to (i) reduce the number of required rail vehicles of the type BEMU from 18 to 8, or (ii) the possible increase of rail vehicles EMU from 8 to up to 11. The precise and/or further requirements for the vehicles including the specification of the final and binding number of vehicles may be specified during the negotiation in the tender phase of the Procurement Procedure.
