The contract covers a service concession (LUK) concerning the provision, operation and management of a service for physical and digital gift cards. By gift cards is meant a voucher with a pre-determined monetary value that can be used as a means of payment at a specified shop, shop chain, restaurant or similar point of sale. The term shop also includes those shops that only sell products, services or experiences on the internet, so-called online shops.
