Germany – IT services: consulting, software development, Internet and support – P1013 SdT Editor

A state-of-the-art library (SdT-Bibliothek) is currently in the pilot phase. This was initiated as a GitHub library with requirements (https://github.com/BSI-Bund/Stand-der-Technik Bibliothek). Two software artifacts are being developed in this project:

1. Editor for creating requirements and compiling existing requirements into catalogs

2. Generator for reviewing requirements and catalogs and supporting their management for the purpose of implementing and documenting measures.

As a result, BSI staff and other creators of requirement documents will be able to enter requirements and measures user-friendly in the editor. These will be technically correct in the state-of-the-art library and will be visible in the generator after an automated review process. BSI staff and other creators of requirement documents do not need special knowledge of the OSCAL format for this. The target groups of the BSI (authorities, companies) can view the requirements clearly in user catalogs and are supported by the generator in the selection and implementation of measures.
