Within the framework of the integrative redesign concept for the Wallring, a comprehensive, functional, and traffic-robust concept for future traffic management and design options for the Wallring is to be developed. For this purpose, relevant foundations are to be analysed, variants are to be developed, tested for feasibility, and compared with each other in an evaluative manner. In the development of the final variant, both open space and urban planning should be involved at an early stage with the aim of sensibly and functionally combining all relevant aspects of the Wallring. To verify the results and for the implementation-oriented further development, at least three decisive intersections should be planned in terms of traffic according to HOAI performance phases 1 and 2. Finally, a prioritisation of measures should be carried out using an effort and demand estimate, which concretises the subsequent planning steps.
