Switzerland – Operation of electrical installations – Dienstleistungsvereinbarungen (DLV) 2027 Instandhaltung Unterwerke und Trassen

The business model of Swissgrid provides for the maintenance of lines and substations to be carried out by external service providers, known as grid installation operators (NAB). The basic services tendered (as before) include: inspection and maintenance, standby duty, fault analysis and rectification and special tasks such as securing against re-energisation (GWS) and escorting and repairs. The basic services cover eight years. Optionally, up to two times two further years are tendered. In addition, there are options for additional services over all twelve years in total. For the lines sector (Lot Northwest Switzerland), the contract duration remains 3+1+1 years. A detailed description of the project can be found in Document C Leistungsbeschrieb. Due to the criticality of the services tendered, there is a cross-tender restriction per service provider on the DLV for substations and for lines. The details are regulated in the procedural instructions (01).
