Description

The reliability of the interdepartmental pumping station VL2 located in Villeneuve Saint Georges, owned by the Syndicat Interdépartemental pour l'Assainissement de l'Agglomération Parisienne and operated by the Val de Marne Departmental Council (Direction des Services de l'Environnement et de l'Assainissement). The VL2 pumping station was built in 1991 to supply the Valenton Wastewater Treatment Plant (Seine amont - SAM) with effluents collected in the Val de Marne and to relieve Seine aval. The present project involves implementing the results of the hydraulic reliability and AMDEC studies carried out from 2016 to 2018 for all items noted as having unacceptable degree 1 criticality, namely: - Modification of pumping to ensure continuous compliance with the flow rates required by the STEP, regardless of pump failure occurrences, - Securing the discharge tank, - Partitioning of the TGBT and transformers, - Modification of the screening system to evacuate the ground, - Replacement of the inlet valves. The objectives are threefold: - On the one hand, to guarantee the availability and backup of the VL2 pumping in line with SAM's purification objectives (flow rate of 6m3/s) and thus reduce routing to SESAME and Charenton - On the other hand, to make the equipment of the VL2 station more reliable, the analysis of the failure modes (AMDEC) of which has revealed unacceptable criticality, - Finally, to improve the quality of the effluent pumped to the Valenton plant by eliminating screening rejects at the source (shared will in the SIAAP area to reduce the silting of the pretreatment and thus improve the efficiency of the wastewater treatment plant).
