Germany – Seats, chairs and related products, and associated parts – Abschluss eines Rahmenvertrags über die Lieferung von Stapelstühlen für die Stadt Essen

The subject of the tender is the supply of stacking chairs/visitor chairs to the City of Essen. A framework agreement with a basic term of one year and a three-year extension option, extendable by one year each time, is to be concluded. The contract begins with the award of the contract, expected from 23 October 2026. The contract may be terminated by either party by 30 June of each year. If the contract is not terminated, it will be automatically extended by one year. The contract ends as soon as the order value exceeds the order volume for the maximum term of 4 years, but no later than 4 years after the order is placed (expected 22 October 2030). Any order extensions under § 132 GWB are excluded from this regulation. The framework agreement to be concluded includes the supply of various chairs incl. accessories, the detailed description of which can be found in the specification. To ensure a uniform appearance of the stacking chairs with the chairs already in use by the City of Essen, the three shell shapes to be supplied at least for positions 1 to 3 must resemble the shell shapes shown in the specification. Further shell shapes may be offered in addition.
