Norway – Electrical machinery, apparatus, equipment and consumables; lighting – Procurement of emergency power generators

The aim of the procurement is to ensure emergency power for the operation of the pumps that are in the pump sump at the lowest point in the underwater tunnels in Ålesund. At power outlets, the pumps, which currently pump out water from object and at washing, stop and the water will fill the magazine and eventually also the road railways and tunnels. This will lead to closures and the danger of the tunnel being left underwater in the event of a longer power outlet. A mobile emergency power generator will, therefore, be necessary to maintain the power supply until the internet based power is back. This is an important link in the stand-by in the tunnels.
