The laundry and ironing service has been deployed as a pilot in the municipality of Montferland from 1 April 2025. This pilot runs until 1 April 2027. The municipality can deploy the laundry and ironing service as a bespoke provision under Wmo 2015 for those residents who are not themselves able to perform this household task independently to a predominant extent. The assistance is intended for residents who cannot (or cannot fully) perform laundry tasks themselves due to a (physical) limitation. In addition, the laundry service is intended as a workplace for people with a distance from the labour market. Further agreements on this will be laid down in a framework agreement with the Work & Income department of the municipality of Montferland.
