The procurement/invitation to tender aims and purpose include technical expertise for setting up, configuring and managing a new IT environment where SharePoint is installed on the city's own servers, which the city's service provider Vivicta provides in the city's environment. The procurement also includes advanced expertise, i.e. experienced developers and IT architects with competence in building, construction and infrastructure information management. Armaria needs to be developed and adapted over a very long period of time, and for this, a secured level of specialised and particular technical ability and operational-related competence is needed. The purpose of the procurement is to achieve such a level to secure the system's operation and maintenance as well as a stable future functionality without risk of downtime, extended lead times or unreasonably high costs. Through proposed changes to Armaria, it will also be possible to receive deliveries of information from more complex projects such as Slussen, Hagastaden, Norra Djurgårdsstaden, and others.
