This contract concerns the cleaning and emptying of the manholes for the municipality of Diemen. In total, there are 8,900 manholes, of which 7,500 manholes can be cleaned mechanically and 1,400 must be cleaned manually, as the truck cannot access these. The manholes should be cleaned twice a year, once in the spring (April/May) and once in the autumn (October/November). The tasks related to the cleaning of the manholes are: - The removal of dirt such as sand and leaves - The cleaning of the manholes - The checking and keeping clear of the discharge.
