At the site of the Ford plant in Saarlouis, Ford will cease production of the FOCUS in November 2025. Ford will continue to remain on part of the site with a reduced number of employees. The entire site consists of the former Ford plant, which will gradually be reduced to an area designated "FCSP", and the formerly associated Ford Industrial Supplier Park "FISP". The freed-up areas will be used for the new settlement of the Ravensburger pharmaceutical company, Firma Vetter. For this purpose, a phased dismantling of areas and the infrastructure located on and beneath them, as well as their redesign, will be necessary. The present partial measure in the overall context of the industrial area Saarlouis Roden (ISR) will be referred to as "Lot 8: Cable Laying". Site inspection dates: Bidders are recommended to inspect the site before submitting a bid. Two dates have been scheduled: Thursday, 16 July 2026, 10–12 am, Friday, 17 July 2026, 10–12 am.
