The town of Hörstel intends to construct a new town hall. The planning area/site is located in the northeast of the municipal area. Access to the planned building will be via the new road to be constructed, which can be reached via Uferstraße. The design includes an approximately 57.00 m long and almost 16.50 m deep and area-efficient block. This is internally divided into a main core and two office areas with ancillary rooms on the central axis. The building is divided into three above-ground floors and a basement. The gross floor area is approximately 3,825 m². According to the council resolution, the building is to be constructed as an Efficiency House 40. To meet the KfW-EG 40 standard, the criteria of the sustainability certification QNG according to DGNB must be met. The building will be constructed in timber-hybrid construction from the ground floor up and in solid construction in the basement.
