Poland – Tree-cutting services – Usuwanie drzew konkurencyjnych dla cisa w rezerwacie przyrody "Cisy w Czarnem".

The subject of the procurement is: Removal of competitive trees for yews in the "Cisy w Czarnem" nature reserve. The "Cisy w Czarnem" reserve is located in Człuchowski County, in the municipality of Rzeczenica, approximately 6.2 km north-east of the town of Czarne. The reserve is located on State Treasury lands managed by the Czarne Człuchowskie Forest District. Scope of work: 1) Cutting down trees, including medium- and large-sized trees from the first and second tiers, or individual branches of trees (up to a height of approximately 10 m), which shade the yews. The trees designated for cutting have been marked with a number and a dot using green/red paint. Trees from which only branches need to be cut have also been marked with paint (number and arrow with a tip pointing upwards). A list of trees with information about their diameter is included in a table. Trees marked in the above manner should be felled by hand, using the traditional bottom-up method. They should be felled with due care to avoid damaging the yews among which they grow, as well as yew litter. Felled trees can be left in the reserve, preferably whole, outside the designated footpath and in places where they will not threaten the yews. 2) Clearing of understory (mainly hazel, hornbeam and beech) on areas where young yews are growing. The total area is approximately 3.60 ha. The areas for cutting are mapped in a .shp file. 3) The cut biomass (as indicated in point 2) must be removed from the reserve. It can be stored in locations indicated by the Czarne Człuchowskie Forest District (no further than 200 m from the reserve boundary).
