Germany – Load-bearing structure design services – Ingenieurleistungen nach Teil 4 Abschnitt 1 HOAI

At Auf der Morgenstelle 32/2, 72076 Tübingen, Tübingen, Universität, NWI, Green Robust, Neubau WIC 2, Exzellenzcluster, it is intended to progressively commission specialist planning services for structural design according to Part 4, Section 1 of the HOAI 2021 for the project Universität Tübingen - Neubau Pflanzenanzuchtgebäude (WIC Hall 2). The site for the new building is located below the existing WIC Hall 1 on the grounds of the Universität Tübingen. The overall construction measure WIC Hall 2 includes the erection of a plant cultivation building with climate chambers, greenhouse areas, and laboratory, work, and office spaces in biological safety level S2. The measure serves to accommodate the Exzellenzcluster "GreenRobust" and is part of the nationwide construction program. A static concept is to be developed for the building that allows the required flexibility of use. It must be taken into account that the construction area is in earthquake zone 3. An existing structure with the WIC Hall 1 can serve as a reference for the planning. For the load-bearing structures, taking into account the usage requirements, the static-structural boundary conditions, as well as ecological and economic criteria, an appropriate choice of building materials is to be made. Preferred are constructions with low grey energy, high durability and good recyclability. The estimated total construction costs are 11.0 million € gross (as of construction price index I/2026 = 193.2).
