The TLBV plans the new construction of the B 281 Rockendorf - Krölpa. The bypass is classified as a priority need in the Federal Transport Infrastructure Plan 2030. The subject of the tender is faunal surveys to record the bat fauna as part of the planning of the approximately 6.0 km long new B 281n between Rockendorf and Pößneck. The planned route runs predominantly through agricultural areas and crosses various bodies of water, valleys and woodland structures; due to the natural conditions, possible bat occurrences and their use of the route areas are to be recorded and evaluated. The surveys include in particular detector walks with stationary and mobile recordings, automatic acoustic recordings using bat boxes, and if necessary, mist netting and the inspection of potential roost structures. The aim is to provide a reliable record of the bat species present, their activity areas, flight routes and potential roost sites as a basis for further landscape management and nature conservation planning.
